And now, we wait.

I've spent the last year trying to get this project back in the green again. We've spent tireless hours, myself and a few others playing with the markets, shifting the drips, messing with the outputs, seeing what works versus what doesn't work, and I'm happy to announce that last week was our first profitable week in god knows how long.

Like this bear market has been a crusher like no other. For the last 12 months we've bled crimson hive. Not much mind you, our "in the red" days have only been trickles, but that sure mounts up over the last year, making a small loss every month.

It's been a long and arduous journey keeping this place afloat, and thanks to the wisdom of a few people that will remain nameless at their request we've managed to create a very robust and solid foundation for the next two years and beyond. We've stopped leaking, we've pulled it back, and now we're making profits again!

Yay.

I'm absolutely sure the few of us that have been on this blockchain for longer than two seconds will know what I'm talking about when I say this bear has been a brutal one. It's not just the losses but the cost of living has gone sky high -- this hasn't been any ordinary lull in the way of life, this has been the pit of doom which has saw many project owners head for the employee door of McDonalds (including me).

But I am hoping this is the start of a brighter year. We're just beginning this one and I feel that we're about to start walking into clearer weather, clearer skies for the remainder of the bull season. If we're making a profit now, that probably means there will be bigger profits to be made six months down the line.

We're already seeing an uptick of activity in splinterlands, and we've yet to even discover what's possible when lands come to the horizon. Matt has already promised that he's going heavy on people that have been mining the magic -- to which we are very high on that aspect. I think we're 40th or so in our region!

Which means rewards will be winging their way to us in the form of goodies soon enough. But we wait, because there's still so much more to come, and time we have. Much more of it now.

We've recently joined up with @trustexchange -- we've bought their foundation member token and are mining away with it (320 per day). They are expected to go live next month and it's going to be another avenue to earn for hive users if I understanding everything correctly from @baltai. This one I'm quite excited about.

And one token that's completely outperforming us at the moment is @hivedrip -- they have had the luxury of not being around before the bear market hit and has been making good profits (for us too) since inception. I expect that will change as our assets begin to inflate other projects in a years time, but time will tell, who knows.

As for now we sit and wait, and enjoy the sunshine and clear skies. I hope it's going well for all of you too!
