🌊 Lunch Break Adventures 🌊
Today, I decided to swap my usual lunchtime routine for a mini adventure by the sea-canal. With my trusty DJI Mini 3 Pro drone in tow, I set out to capture the serene beauty of boats gliding through the water. And oh, what a sight it was!
Check to see a breathtaking vertical panorama of the canal. The boat, perfectly positioned in the frame, seems to be on a journey of its own, surrounded by the vast expanse of water and sky. The ripples in the water and the reflection of the boat create a mesmerizing effect, making it one of my favorite shots.
The next picture, a landscape shot, offers a wider perspective of the same scene. The boat, the canal, and the surrounding greenery come together to paint a picture of tranquility and peace. It's moments like these that make me appreciate the beauty of nature and the simple joys of life.
But wait, there's more! The final shot is an overhead view of a boat navigating the curve of the canal. The bird's-eye perspective gives a unique vantage point, showcasing the boat's path and the intricate patterns the water makes as it moves. It's almost poetic, watching the boat dance with the water.
All in all, today's lunch break was a refreshing escape from the daily grind. It's amazing how a simple change in perspective, both literally and figuratively, can make all the difference. Here's to more lunchtime adventures and capturing the world from above! 🚤🌊📸

Love the vertical pano. Something like that would be great to print large and have mounted on a door or similar.

Yes indeed! I like the panorama’s from the DJI’s, but I LOVE the vertical pano’s!
I have had some regular camera photo’s printed out in door-size prints, and they’re hanging in a local restaurant. Ever since, I always try to look for the possibilities to create more like that :-)
I don't know about you, but for me seeing a large print that I took hanging on the wall is just a special feeling. A big smile from the inside. None of mine in a public business yet, that must feel even more pride! Some of the DJI's do have a vertical pano option with the auto-stitching.. It does pretty decent for my needs. I see other pros preferring the manual stitching for more control and less glitches.
Didn’t know about the horizontal pano option on the dji’s! But indeed, I would most probably still do it afterwards in Lightroom…
And indeed, seeing your work in public is really nice!
