Walking in the park is probably going to be my thing in the UK. It's such a calming experience, particularly in this period of my life that there's a lot of turbulence.

Settling in is still a bit of a challenge for us but we're doing our best to scale through. There are still a lot of bills left to pay but I'm not going to let that get me down.

Earlier today, we took a walk in the park at Orpington that's somewhere close to the M25. Credit to @cryptoandcoffee for making us notice the name of the street and stuff.

Anyway, the most notable part of the walk was when we got to this picturesque walk bridge along the way. It felt like something straight out of a Hollywood clip.

I'm still adjusting to the weather but so far, it's been quite nice. My friend here tells me that winter is brutal, so we should get our shit together as soon as possible.

There's a certain calmn that comes from walking in the park. I can absolutely get used to this view.

I guess it's all relative. Winter is going to be brutal if you're coming from Nigeria. Actually British winters are fairly mild compared to most of Northern Europe.

If you're staying in Orpington and want to experience a quintessential British town then you can jump on a train to Tunbridge Wells or go a bit further into the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - plenty of walks there!

I wish I had enough time and money to experience the city but right now, I really need to focus on settling in as fast as possible. We still have to move to Nottingham by Wednesday and then get going.
