Tribute to the ancestors - A trip to the village - Part two.

So in my yesterday’s story about how my family and I went on an obligatory trip to the village to the land of our ancestors I stopped at the fact that we ended up near the old estate where a Polish pan lived in tsarist times.

In fact my wife, mother-in-law, and kids were in the car and I took a jog along the shady paths in order to take some photographs as a memento of such an event.

It's not often that you find yourself in a historical place.

We must pay tribute, the territory of this estate is diligently looked after so I was approaching the estate.

I passed by a small pond with green water the surface of which was overgrown with duckweed, I don’t know if there are fish here, but sometimes the lakes give us surprises.

Unfortunately this time I did not plan fishing I had very little time to stay here we still had a long way to go to the end point of our journey.

I was surprised to see whitewashed trees here not in every orchard people whitewash trees but here whitewashed beeches and hornbeams.

When there were about three hundred meters left to the estate I saw this wonderful oak which as it were jumped out of a fairy tale to us.

I realized that I could spend the rest of the time near this oak, it was very beautiful, look at these branching roots that tear the ground around.

The roots were like snakes that writhed under my feet.

This oak carefully guarded the estate and it seems indeed he was the oldest watchman here.

I hoped that after photographing this oak tree there would be at least a little free space on the memory card of my camera.

The manor was already visible and I was going to go there, but...

And what happened next we'll find out tomorrow!

That must've been a nice jog! It looks like a beautiful place, I love the scenery and the soft mossy grass.

I stopped at the fact that we ended up near the old estate where a Polish pan lived in tsarist times.

Oh you mean pan, the greek god? (or devilish scammer imo)
Isn't that the ancient creature that has the goat legs and horns on his head and constantly plays the pan flute to attract female mates?

This is a cartoon version of a cartoon "Mia and Me" that I like/liked to watch when I was younger, described as an entire species

Do you know anything about these?
Sorry to be a little off topic, I just like to learn and discover these type of creatures that we didn't get to research much in the past. I believe that these existed before, or currently... maybe I'm a nerd, but I just wish that we could know more about the wonders of this world. Thank you for your time @barski!

Pan, that's how landowners were called in Poland and Ukraine, and now it's a respectful treatment, like sir, or mister.
