Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 12/08/2023 - Issue - No.88 + a modest competition for everyone who wants to share a monochrome photograph.
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
Looking at photographs you can experience different feelings it can be something pleasant or something unpleasant but the most important thing is that the photograph evokes them and is not a thoughtless picture that is not able to remind you of any moment from your life.
In the photo provided I captured a frosty morning the sun had not yet risen.
The streets are empty but the traces of those who passed here last evening are clearly visible.
In the evening there was a thaw and the snow began to melt but towards the morning a severe frost hit and the snow turned into ice like crystal which crunches unpleasantly underfoot with every step.
It’s cold and slippery at such moments I ask myself the question of what exactly made me leave a warm and cozy apartment and go into this crystal darkness.

This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.
