Financial Crime: 70bn Needed For Furniture.

Just when I thought I had heard and seen it all, another news hit me right in the face. "How outrageous is the news in this season?" I almost yelled but I held myself back knowing acting all sane in a country well known as the Giant of Africa won't do me good.

Don't get me wrong, it is not like I am insane or maybe I am? Who knows? It is hard to argue your level of sanity or insanity when in a psychiatric hospital so yeah, I'll pass on that. Thank you.

Now, speaking on the news that got me giggling like I won a billion won of Korean currency. You won't believe it and I don't expect you to but anyways, news stations aired it, and whether it is the truth or not lies in your hands. If you want to know what's in mine, you will need to tell me concisely if you are sane or insane.

Back to our topic. I heard some big awesome news last night but I was emotionally drained from checking it. I knew I needed tens and thousands and even millions of powers surging through me so I don't end up doing something ridiculous like going on #Twitter. If you find this offensive please, blame the keyboard or your eyesight or any other thing as far as I am not included. I am a person, not a thing.

Alright, let's get to business. Before that, let's see what the screenshot below says. You may need to detach yourself from any electric current to prevent you from being charged. We don't want you being charged to court now, or would you?

Hey, wait. Snap out of it. Before you'd think of saying something not nice about my beloved country, Nigeria, you should know this and I mean it. Forget the fact that our new President sacked the CBN governor, Petroleum, and all others, forget that.

I want you to also forget the fact that although fuel prices have increased that the citizen wishes the unforgivable Ex-Buhari administrative to reclaim the seat you should know this;

"I will not tolerate any sort of... Any sort of.. of.. ermm... I will... Sorry, I think my keyboard can't move further than this so let's forget what I wanted to say too."

Now to the screenshot. I do agree that the money is needed to repair pieces of furniture. We wouldn't want the county's ambassadors to live in poverty now, would we? Besides, the furniture is needed by them. It was as simple as that! Though I would rather not think of the equivalent of 70 billionaire naira in dollars.

However, I think we should appreciate the Senate for coming out to defend that the money is not meant as a bribe to lawmakers. What an intelligent word to say. I just don't understand why the citizens are angry when they are swimming in money. Don't misquote my words or view them ironically. They aren't. I think you will agree with me if you have been reading from the start.

Anyways, though I feel my blood boiling and urging my pen to give accolades to our distinguished governments, I just realize I feel dizzy and would rather painfully with all regret drop my pen right here.

Still yours truly,
Balikis.

Thanks for reading.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.

Lol I'm just seeing this and I literally screamed. 70billion for furniture when there are projects to be done and people living under a dollar daily.

I guess the concept of conscience has long since been stolen and we should only expect more from this comedy show called the government.

Seems more than a bit excessive, doesn't it? Could they be directed to a good used furniture store?

Hehe, they don't think it is and who are we not to agree with them?😂😂. Nigerian government is brutal. They borrow money to spend on things like this. It makes them feel good, I suppose.

Thanks for stopping by Mel, some great fun !luv to you today.

I hope you know you can be charged to court for even bringing this up on this nonsocial media.

And before you overpraise our beloved senate, remember that the judiciary also got some pie, just to sew new capes. You don't want your judges appearing like they just survived the war in Afghanistan

Please don't let them see this 😂😂😂.
