     The previous week's photography challenge was such a hit that I decided to another one, only this week's challenge is blue-themed. Anything you can find that is blue is fair game for this challenge. Flowers, toys, skies, food, books, even blue people will all work if the right color is involved. No need to close your cameras folks, the photography fun continues this week for another round.

     As will all challenges, the writing is also an important component, so don't forget to tell a story, even if it is just technical details about the who, when, where, why of your shots. If you feel a strong to paint yourself blue for this challenge, it will not be discouraged, but note that it is not encouraged also. Blue, blue, blue, it's a simple rule, so have fun with this week's challenge, and now let's see the winners of last week's challenge.....

     It was nearly impossible to choose three winners for this challenge because there were so many outstanding entries. I did however force myself to make some decisions, but many posts were so good that I chose to give out Ecency tips as some extra rewards for notable entries. Have you ever wondered why people smile? There are many reasons, actually, and it depends on the person giving that smile. This is because smiles can have different meanings. In my younger years, I thought that smiles only occurred during happy moments. I thought a smile could only be the result of something positive. As I graduated from high school and went to college, my family deteriorated. I found out that my father had gotten involved with a third party.

Do you think I was surrounded by tulip fields in Amsterdam? How I wish, it is one of my bucket lists to go to the Netherlands to see the tulip fields someday. Anyway, let me enjoy the Celosia flowers on a flower farm instead.

Do you guys know the song "SMILE" by Nat King Cole? It's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the challenge this week. It's an old song, but it's a classic... and I love it! The lyrics is especially good because it talks about smiling through life. There might be heartaches, darkness and whatever challenges we face in life, but it'd still be worthwhile... if we just SMILE.
