It's a Double Birthday Celebration!

I have a crooked sense of time. It's crazy cruising through three time zones. My days are long, and yet they pass by so quickly. Many times, I don't know what day it is already.

Little Miss though, had been asking if it was Saturday already. Why? Because that's the day we would be celebrating my cousins' kids' birthdays.

A few weeks ago, I shared in another weekend post that we already had our next swimming escapade planned.

And finally, here it is!

This time, we didn't have to go far. The pool we went to was just a few minutes walk away from home. While the kids were excited about the swimming part, I was just curious how this new place was. It looked nice in photos. Yesterday was the chance to experience it first hand.

The kids had a grand time at the pool, not even minding the glaring heat of the sun! I asked the my kids to reapply sunscreen every hour or so but it didn't seem to have worked. Lol.

They were in the water non-stop and only got out for a few minutes when it was finally time to sing "happy birthday" to the two celebrants and then it was eating time.

The was a slide which was not too high hence the kids were able to go. My young cousin was patient enough to wait for the kids down the slide to ensure their safety.

As for me, it was Saturday mornin in PH but it was still Friday at work and there were some very important emails to be sent so I just had to be contented with watching them as I also get my tasks done.

It was a very sunny day. It was like you could not even imagine that there was thunderstorm in the early morning. The sky dumped all the rain it could before the sun rise so the kids could have a sunny day at the pool.

I was able to encourage the kids to go home ahead of the pack because they started to show some itches on their skin -- I think the water in the pool was bad or what, I don't know coz only my kids got the itch. Lol. That's why it's still the beach for me. I don't really like swimming pools.

Anyway, what matters is that everybody had fun. What's next is recovering the skin after the sunburn. 😁

Happy birthday to the two celebrants. I wish them an extended life. Like your kids, I often take breaks when I swim, and I'm also easy to catch sunburn, haha. I recommended that they use aloe vera as a big help and use higher SPF sunscreens.

Thanks!

Yes, I put aloe vera gel on their skin to make it feel better.
