Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Little League
Little League
Description:
Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.
Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset. Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health. Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage. Using Mylor as summoner in this ruleset helps a lot.
The Battle Ruleset
Little League :Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.
Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
This is a middle mana ruleset game and almost every color is available to play, except the Death and Dragon Splinters, so I had a very good chance to use a full magic attack team, because their biggest counter Thaddeus from the Death Splinter was banned.
It is also a good idea to bring a full magic team, because my opponent couldn't take advantage of the extra armors from the Armored Up ruleset.
Using the Little League ruleset is always makes setting up the lineup more challenging, because there will be a lot of monsters banned and my opponent most likely will bring a very similar team.
The Close Range aruleset will help a little bit, because all the ranged attack monsters will be able to attack from the first position, which is always amazing.
My Team Composition
The Obsidian is a very good summoner for this battle, because she will increase the magic attack of all of her friendly monsters by one. The magic attack is the strongest attack type out of the three, because it will ignore the enemy armors, which is amazing in ruleset like the Armored Up where all the monsters on the battlefield will receive an extra two armor.
I used the Xenith Monk as my main tank, because for only four mana he is simply the best available tank in the game. He has the self Heal ability, so he will restore some of his own health when damaged therefore he will be able to sustain more damage throughout the battle.
The Djinn Biljka will be my off tank in case my opponent will bring a magic attack team, because he has the Void ability, which will reduce the enemy magic attack by half or to the minimum of one, which will deal no damage on him. He also has three magic attack with the buff from the Obsidian and his only weakness is his low speed.
The Elven Mystic is very good creature in this battle, because if my opponent decide to bring a similar team like me than the Silence on this monster will be a game changer. The Silence will decrease all the enemy magic attack by one, which might be a huge help in a mirror match.
The Magi of the Forest doesn't have any ability, but instead he has an extra magic damage, which will makes him to highest magic damage dealer on the battlefield with his four magic damage.
The Doctor Blight is also slow like the Biljka, but he has a lot of amazing abilites and damage to coutner that. He has the Poison ability, so if triggers that than his target will suffer two damage at every round. The Affliction ability will remove the ability on his target to receive or heal themselves. His third ability will hide him from the enemy attacks as long as he is not in the first position.
The Wood Nymph cost 4 mana and she will be my main healer in this game in case my opponent decide to bring similar team, because if they will bring even one Sneak attack monster she will die quickly. On her own she has only one magic attack, but the buff from the Obsidian will make that two, which is amazing.

My battle will be an interesting one and hopefully a quick one, because my opponent also picked the Obsidian like me, so none of the armors will matter and the Silence or Void abilites will be game changer.
The plan of my opponent was to increase the stats of his Djinn Biljka who has the Void ability using his Fungus Fiend. Luckily they didn't bring any monster with the Silence ability, so my team had the full power of the magic and such they penetrated his defense quite easily.
In the end of the first round my team even killed their Queen Mycelia who died against my Biljka with one shot and my Doctor Blight also killed their Spellsmith, because they were the slowest in the game.
My tank was very good, because he had a lot of health and the ability to Heal himself, so my opponent couldn't really kill him and in the second round my team managed to kill all of their monsters and winning the game for me.

I do not really like that, because it is difficult to setup a team using only low mana cost monsters and on top of that it will be always higher chance for a mirror match.
