Oversleeping | Actifit 04.11.2023 [ENG/PL]
Hello and welcome! :)
There is a clock in my room that stopped at 12.30 a few days ago, but I was too busy with my daily chores to pay attention to it and make it work properly. Yesterday, my brother woke me up saying that it was already half past one, but of course, looking at the stopped clock, I took it as a joke. However, when I got up it turned out that I had really slept late. Because of this, the day passed quickly.
I studied and thought about choosing a suitable text for a presentation for my British Literature class. My cousin, who is studying in the UK, recommended some texts to me. I am now faced with a dilemma - a book or a poem? The best solution would be to read both and make a presentation about which was more interesting.
I went for a walk when it was already getting dark. I walked with my dog in the almost empty streets near my house. I managed 6,000 steps.
P.S. The mascot shown in the photo was made by my friend (in reference to Hive, of course 😉 ).

W moim pokoju znajduje się zegar, który parę dni temu zatrzymał się na godzinie 12.30. Jednak byłam zbyt zajęta codziennymi obowiązkami, aby zwrócić na to uwagę i sprawić, by działał prawidłowo. Wczoraj mój brat obudził mnie mówiąc, że jest już wpół do pierwszej, ale oczywiście patrząc na zatrzymany zegar wzięłam to za żart. Jednak gdy wstałam okazało się, że naprawdę spałam do późna. Przez to dzień minął mi szybko.
Pouczyłam się i myślałam nad wyborem odpowiedniego tekstu do prezentacji na zajęcia z literatury brytyjskiej. Moja kuzynka, która studiuje w Wielkiej Brytanii poleciła mi kilka tekstów. Teraz mam przed sobą dylemat - książka czy wiersz? Najlepszym rozwiązaniem będzie przeczytanie obu i zrobienie prezentacji o tym, co było ciekawsze.
Na spacer wybrałam się, gdy zrobiło się już ciemno. Spacerowałam z moim psem po prawie pustych ulicach niedaleko domu. Udało mi się zrobić 6 tysięcy kroków.
P.S. Maskotka widoczna na zdjęciu została zrobiona przez moją koleżankę (oczywiście w nawiązaniu do Hive 😉 ).
