HiveStudents Hub Project, giving back to the Community

Hello everyone, I welcome you all once again to my blog and I am very excited to write and share my daily blog here in this community. It’s a pleasure to do that here and to support the growth of the hive blockchain at large. Today, I write to share with you guys an interesting event I once witnessed. Hive Ghana community as we all know runs a couple of events or activities for its community and country at large. Some of these include; the Hive Ghana borehole project for providing less privileged with pure and clean water. Hive Students Hub project where less privileged schools are supported with school materials.

Hive Ghana Health care project which allows members to support the needy and sick people in our various communities. There are a lot of projects yet to be implemented by the Hive Ghana team and I believe with time, they will surely disclose most of them. Today, I will discuss with you guys the Hive Students Hub project where we went to Bimbilla to support the schools with learning materials and also with foodstuff as well.

This time around, we went to Senior High School which was a boarding school and the students will surely need foodstuffs so we added that to our list of items. Our journey was a four-hour journey so we had to take off early in the morning so we could reach there early and run the necessary programs that we wanted to do before it was late afternoon.

By 6:30 am, all our members were around and we took off from Tamale to Bimbilla. We had breakfast in the vehicle because our journey was a bit lengthy. When we got there, the students were already seated and waiting for us with some of their Instructors. That was a good sign that they were happy to meet us just as we were.

Without wasting much time, the program commenced with introducing ourselves to the pupils. We then had a brief introduction of Hive blockchain to the students by one of our vibrant Hivians (depreesedfuckup). We then entered into the mentorship program where the students were asked to come to us to ask any questions that were bothering them either concerning Hive or their education. We used about 30 minutes for that after which I also spoke a few things about Hive withdrawals and transactions.

Prizes were given to students who asked and answered a few questions to show that we valued their participation. Mind you, each student was given Milo and can fish aside those that took extra from the question and answers section. Refreshment was there and we had fun indeed.

After everything was over, we took pictures with the students and since we had a long way to go, we wasted no more time again and that was all for that wonderful day.

Thank you all for your time and attention in reading my post. I am looking forward to seeing you all in my subsequent posts.

Giving back is golden, if everyone who could give back actually gave back to schools, communities etc. we would have progressed past our current situation
