Explosive Weaponry Ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Per the ruleset of the game, All Monsters have the Blast ability. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY

Ruleset Icon	Description
Explosive Weaponry	All Monsters have the Blast ability. The best strategy is to have fast monsters with Snipe, Sneak, and Opportunity. For defense, Shield and Void will come in handy.

Summoner:

I chose the "FRANZ RUFFMANE summoner". It was a 30-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the FRANZ RUFFMANE summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in armor protection. I included the Captain Katie monster so that it will increase in stats after eliminating a monster. My team lineup comprised the following; Drybone Barbarian, Venari Marksrat, Captain Katie, Venari Crstalsmith, and Chaos Agent.

1st Position:

Drybone Barbarian, this card has the enrage special ability. It is a 9-mana monster with a speed of 2, 4 melee attack damage, and 10 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by an extra magic attack damage to all my monsters. My opponent's lineup comprised six monsters including the Drybone Barbarian, Venari Crystalsmith, Choas Knight, Xenith Archer, Time Mage, and Celestial Harpy.

In the first round, my opponent's monsters all attacked my first position monster after which it eliminated the Venari Marksrat monster and with it's martyr ability, increased all stats for Captain Katie and Drybone Barbarian. Captain Katie then attacked followed by an attack from Drybone Barbarian as well. At the end of round, one of my monsters was eliminated and I was left with four monsters while my opponent had all six intact.

Round 2:

In this round, the Time Mage monster attacked my Drybone Barbarian first after which I then attacked and eliminated two of my opponent's monster with a single attack through the aid of the explosive weaponry ability.

The Captain Katie Warden monster also attacked and eliminated two monsters from my opponent's lineup and increased double in all stats. At the end of the round, my opponent was left with just a single monster in the lineup.

Round 3:

In this round, just from a single attack from Captain Katie, I was able to eliminate all monsters in my opponent's lineup.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with magic cards was a great idea.
