Growth via self-acceptance

There are certain rules in life. For instance, you can only pour water from a glass containing water, not from an empty glass. You can only give from the bountifulness of what you already have. In this same manner, it's important to realize that your acceptance of others comes from your acceptance of yourself.

You may not be perfect (nobody is the same), but you have to learn to accept what you cannot change in yourself. Self-acceptance builds confidence to not only accept people and work with them, but to get them to accept you as well.

Believe me, for people who live in a state of self-denial, this is always in their attitude and character towards others, and therefore people can feel it. This will lead to people rejecting them and they will suffer more from self-rejection. The solution to this is to accept yourself first.

It's important to note that self-acceptance is not pride. Pride is simply overestimating and overestimating yourself, while self-acceptance is knowing that you have flaws, that you are not perfect, and that you still accept yourself as you strive to be good.

Many people have fallen into the position of constantly hating themselves for the mistakes of their past. Tell me, you can't change the mistakes you made in the past. You need to recognize this, then move on with your life and take action to fix it. Self-acceptance begins with forgiving yourself for past mistakes. If you always blame yourself for what happened, how would you progress to become better?
