RE: Would A Clone Really Be Me?

An interesting topic — but for me, cloning doesn’t solve anything, because it doesn’t address the real issue: the continuity of consciousness. A clone with my memories isn’t me, it’s just another person who starts out with my baggage but lives their own timeline. That’s not survival, it’s duplication. For the most part, that clone would be an entirely different person, even if it carried my memories.
