But yesterday, one of the assignments was a text that showed that in some areas you need to be an extremely highly specialized native English speaker in order to understand what it is about.

And it was about the influence of cyber addiction among young people during streams and it was written in a way that could only be written by a person who lives in cyberspace but not by someone who stays away from it.

A bunch of terminology that most residents of English-speaking countries are unlikely to know.

Internet that’s what my daughter said, but it was extremely difficult to understand what exactly we were talking about and connect everything together.

Although on the other hand, this is why it is an Olympics so that there are no simple tasks, but this was the case when a chess player was asked to do a pole vault, or run a marathon on asphalt on skis wearing a fencing mask. and not crying while carrying a two-hundred-kilogram weight.

I wonder if nonsense texts have always been offered for consideration at the Olympiad or was there something different?

What makes me happy is that my daughter took this with a smile and decided to read more technical magazines in English in order to eliminate such inconsistencies in the future.
