Liotes Power Challenge 2026 – Let's get started
With the Liotes Project, our target is to grow as a community and to help the community members to increase their stake. To do that, we have created the Liotes Power Challenge. We had the first edition in 2023, after 2024 and 2025, this is already the 4th edition of this challenge.
The concept is very simple, the more Hive you power up, the better. You just do what you have been doing so far: create content, curate and grow. We will track your growth with this challenge and reward you accordingly.
Who can take part?
You need to be in the top 60 of the Liotes ranking to take part.
How to take part?
If you are listed in the ranking below, you automatically take part. You don't need to do anything else. Simply power up as much Hive as possible during the coming 12 months. If you are not listed below and you would like to take part all the same, it's possible. You need to get into the top 60 of the liotes ranking at a later stage and you can then ask to be included in the challenge through a comment under one of our posts.
Who wins?
Everybody wins. At the end of a year we check who has grown the most over the last 12 month and the more you grew, the more you earn.
What can you earn?
For this challenge, we have a prize pot under the account @liotes.one. Whatever this account earns is powered up and delegated to the liotes.voter account. Like that the account earns daily dividends in the form of LEN tokens. These LEN tokens will then be distributed at the end of 2026. The more Hive you have powered up, the more you will earn!
What is new in this challenge?
We increased the number of participants from 50 to 60. The reason is that we have now a working script to collect the hive power of all the users. This saves us a lot of time and we can take a bit more people into the challenge. We don't want to increase that number even more to avoid reducing the rewards from the challenge too much. Like last year, we will include the accounts @ourpick, @liotes and @liotes.fund in the challenge because they are part of this community and we want to see how they evolve over the year. However, these 3 accounts will not be eligible for the prize money at the end of the year.

New to the community, and with all the whales I see here, I wonder how I'm going to make it to the top 60. 🤔
All the same, I'll still go about my Hive duty and continue with my monthly power up.
You don't need to be strong in terms of HP to be in the top60. We refer to the liotes ranking which has different metrics. You can climb in the ranking with 3 things:
All three things are combined in the ranking and it's actually not that difficult to make it into the top 60 :-)
