  • Every viewer has found positive aspects in this film and Sir Humayun Ahmed has made the novel completely out of the conventional story.
U Ranu often notices something unusual but her husband Anis is not so upset. She always calms him down through arguments because Anis has seen Ranu's condition many times before. However, sometimes Ranu is probably sick. The owner's daughter Neelu realizes some things, which makes her interested in Ranu because she is a psychology student. She talks about these things to her teacher Missy Ali and also to Anis and Missy Ali. One day while bathing in the river, a corpse hugged his legs and Ranu became like that. Miss Ali goes to Ranu's village to study Ranu's case. Since then, the white idol of the temple has not been found.

On the other hand, Nilu is introduced to a boy and shows him at a restaurant. Nilu is very impressed with his use. The boy then offers to take her home in his own car. Nilu agrees but the boy actually takes her to his house.

Suddenly it is seen that Ranu has found out everything. Then Ranu falls ill, suffers from high fever, talks to someone as soon as the fever subsides.

When Nilu was asked, Nilu said that some invisible force had come and killed the boy. He also heard the sound of anklets on his feet.

Is Misir Ali explains that these may be the imagination of the excited mind.
After that, the story of the film is shown a few days later, where Miss Ali finds a change in Nilu. From that day onwards, everything in Nilu seems to be like Ranu, Miss Ali. Ranu seems to have miraculously entered Nilu. He was very surprised because Nilu's face, movements, posture all suddenly became like Ranu.
This is how the story ends.
Controversy over the film
E ": ESP: A Mystery Story" was made in 2016, but it was based on Humayun Ahmed's novel, except for the names and religion of the characters. But Shivashish Roy's name is mentioned as a storyteller which was shown in Zee Bangla movie in August of that year. Seeing that caused a storm in Bangladeshi media. Sir Humayun Ahmed's wife Meher Afroz Shaon claimed that permission was not taken and no credit was given. However, the director of the film, Shekhar Das, said that he was unaware of the matter and that he would discuss the issue in detail and apologize if confirmed.
The film received awards:
Bajaj Award (Best Actress, Best Newcomer, Best Director, Best Actor), Merrill Prothom Alo Award, Bangladesh National Film Awards and many more.
Own consideration of the film
Since this film is based on a book written by Humayun Ahmed Sir, it has been great in one word but my own opinion
