You are so right! Society (and family and bosses too) all seem to think that we are superwoman and can do it all. Oftentimes, the sad story is they just choose to not see what's directly in their face-- a woman doing multiple jobs at one with little to no rest, no help and yet, nobody says, "can I carry a bit of your load?" I see that even in my own life and it's super frustrating!
I agree that women can be happy even if life doesn't turn out the way that they dreamed it would. Nobody knows for sure, just what is up around the bend. The best advice anyone can give is to just live it to the fullest; you never know when your time here on earth is done. Leave no regrets behind!

Hello @elizabethbit, thank you so much for reading and for sharing your own experience! You said it perfectly - that superwoman expectation is so real. Family, society, bosses, they all just assume we can carry everything without asking if we need help. "Can I carry a bit of your load?" - that one line you wrote touched me, because that's really all we need sometimes. Just to be seen.
