Divine Defense! Unleashing the Holy Protection Rule Set in Splinterlands

Holy Protection in Splinterlands brings a divine shield to the battlefield, offering a strategic advantage to their teams.

This rule set introduces a game-changing dynamic that can turn the tide of battles. Holy Protection provides crucial defensive capabilities by granting all monsters immunity from damage for the first damage taken. Holy Protection fosters a more strategic and calculated approach to gameplay, adding depth and excitement to Splinterlands battles. Skills like resurrection, double strike, poison and blast damage are the key to winning the matches in my book.

As mentioned all of your opponent's monsters get protection for 1 damage taken. Poison and other afflictions will still apply, which makes poison highly appreciative in this rule set. Since one hit can kill the low-hp monster.

If a monster gets resurrected then he will automatically receive a divine shield again which makes this ability really useful in this ruleset!

Double strike ability will enable a single monster to take out the divine shield in first hit and damage the monster with the second.

Blast damage will quickly remove the divine shield and HP from enemy monsters

let's not forget the most important ability ok? 😁

Redemption!! putting a monster with redemption on tank or last(sneak) position to activate first can be really useful in this ruleset! When a monster with redemption dies it will deal 1 dmg to ALL monsters opponent controls making it really good vs. divine shield.

Tier 4 Brawl game - See how it ends!

Opponent focused on some heavy tanks with retaliate and fair amount of HP and armor.

The intention was to diminish the divine shield with retaliate but as you probably know, retaliate have 50% to be enabled on melee attack.

Since I'm playing fray 10 in tier 10 where only limited cards from Alpha set are available I'm glad I managed to get control on this one easily.

I put some solid DMG in the back line and even tho retaliate triggered few times, the damage my monsters from the back are dealing are overwhelming for the opponent. Which makes me 6-1 in this brawl. Extremely satisfied with that result!
