Chaos Packs to 40 Cents?

The image above has been taken from the official Splinterlands site. If you are a regular of the @rentmoney blog you will know we have been posting allot about the slow and steady cost of CHAOS packs on secondary markets. We usually go over the trade value of CHAOS located on TribalDex (Powered by Hive-Engine). Today I would like to go over the price of CHAOS within the MARKET section of the official Splinterlands site. As of the date 2026-08-31 we can see 71 CHAOS packs listed for $0.385 each. The price jumps up a modest $0.005 afterwards to $0.390 with just 33 Packs listed. 509 packs are listed for the price of $0.395. That is a total of 610 packs currently on the market for slightly under 40 cents each. I said over the last weeks I think we are headed to 40 cent CHAOS packs and we are just about there. It won't be long now before that prediction becomes reality provided resellers don't rush to the bottom.

The Chaos Pack Market

As the above screenshot shows there is a total of 24,154 packs currently listed on the official market located on the Splinterlands site. To get to the CHAOS pack market simply log in to your Splinterlands account. Hover to the top of the main page. Locate and hover over the MARKET icon. You will see a menu displayed. Inside that menu will be a list of options. Click the option that says PACKS. Search for the CHAOS Legion display (shown above) and click it. BOOM: you are now in the right section. You can now trade for CHAOS packs using DEC or CREDITS. At $0.385 the cost in DEC for a CHAOS pack is 1,163.367 DEC. The cost in CREDITS for that same pack is 385 CREDITS. DEC can be purchased on TribalDex (powered by Hive-Engine). CREDITS can be purchased directly on the Spliterlands site. Simply click the + icon next to your credit balance to be brought to the Buy Credits menu (Paypal or Crypto are payment options).

Affordable Packs

CHAOS Legion is a set that is out of print. Meaning the amount of CHAOS Legion packs currently printed will never increase. CHAOS is one of the bigger sets that has been introduced to the Splinterlands ecosystem but I would argue it's also one of the most popular sets. CHAOS was released during the height of the #play2earn gaming craze. Splinterlands was red hot and profits were easy to come by. That bubble busted and the Splinterlands community were left with a large supply of packs. Some view this in a not so good light. I have a different take. I think a large set was exactly what was needed. At the time Splinterland cards were at record high trade values. CHAOS provided relief to everyone's pocket book. Affordable packs on the secondary markets. Affordable cards on the card market while the previous sets like Alpha and Beta provided cards with marquee trade value. It's Movie Night

About a week ago I bumped into a post named Movies For Tonight. Inside of that post featured a breakdown of the movie 300: Rise of an Empire. The movie itself I did watch before but the majority of the finer details of Rise escape me. Well, all but one detail; I can remember being very unimpressed with the movie on first viewing some years ago. The first 300 movie I enjoyed very much. Upon announcement of an addition to the 300 universe I was excited to see what was to be presented. With an open mind I decided to give Rise of an Empire another shot. A day or two back I did just that. I must say I was way to harsh upon first viewing. The second movie captures the first movies essence nicely. There are some nice call backs to the original. 300: Rise of an Empire isn't a traditional sequel nor is it a prequel. Instead it tells a side by side story. Showing events that coincided with the first movie and yet going beyond that. I won't be giving a review here or going over details of the movie. You'll have to go watch if it sounds interesting. However I will leave a trailer to the first 300 movie at the end of this post. I did a little researching and found out there was a third one planned. Unfortunately the creator of the script ventured too far off the original concepts and no studio will fund the project. Hopefully a viable script gets made because I would like to see the universe continued. Have you watched either movie or any decent movie lately?
