I am a little late in posting this, but over the weekend, I opened 50 Foundation packs and worked on combining all these cards. Afterwards, I tested my progress in both the Frontier Leagues and the Modern Leagues to see how I fared in both of these leagues.
To be honest, the results of opening were not in accordance with my expectations, but actually, they are not bad at all, because when I checked my pack openings in the peakmonsters then I found that amount of cards in price that I get from the pack are almost equivalent to the pack value so economically. I am good and top of it give the feeling of pack opening and the excitement. I am not going to give the details of the each card but will show only epic cards, Archons, and of course Gold foils.
The best pull in these card is the gold foil epic card "Echeleon" and a Legendary card Alan Musketeer. I also good good amount of the fire archon Barthalamas (8 in number). I also got other summoners but only couple of them.
There were few couple of Gold foil commons also but in fromtier league or foundation cards . Gold foils common cards are kind of cheap so getting in the pack does not help much and if you want you can easily buy them too.
With all cards opened and checked, it now time to combine these cards.
First, I checked for the Archons, Only Life Archon is available for thw upgrade and I upgrade it to level 3. I was earlier thinking with this pack opening, I might have all the archons at level 3 but I have to wait for some time, I guess another 50 pack opening may help in this, or I should simply start focusing on buying the cards.
Next I went for the Gold foils cards, I see two gold foil common Fire cards can be upgraded and it is great as fire archon is already upgraded.
Next , I checked on the common cards and I upgraded Dread Tafarin, Wilhelmdale Deputy, Hungry Ulund, spinetale fiend and Black widow. Unfortunately, upgraded death element card will not be able to used as death archon highest level is still level 2 rare.
Next , I got to uugrade a lot of rare cards and best thing is that my archon level is able to use all of these rare monster units.
In epic cards, I was able to upgrade Saltwater Mage to level 2 and my level 2 water archon is able to summon this upgraded card so this is good news.
With this card opening, I am sure that I can absorb another 100 pack openings before maxing out some of the cards, after which, instead of pack opening, card buying will start making more sense.
On legendary card front, I now have 2 copies of Alan Musketeer and frankly speaking, I am looking buy its third copy before the Archons.
I am still on hold on buying cards after my Level 5 Kaylia silverleaf purchase but not rigid to stop purchasing. I guess, When I will start purchasing cards, Alan Musketeer will be the first one that I will be looking to buy, even before the archons purchase.
I am also waiting for the start of next season to add another 400 common rewards cards to strengthen my modern.
