So it is the time for the drop of the latest Conclave Arcana Legendary Archon that is Hanv. I guess if you are a veteran, then you already know about the story of Hanv to fund it's ambition to be one of the top Conclave Arcana pack purchasers in presale. This legendary Archon will be of 7 mana and granting deflect as Bloodline Dominion to Undead and Goblins. Also, it will grant tactics to 1 unit and it has tactics of Swiftness and Doublestrike. More about this Archon can be read on the Splinterland's announcement post. I am not going to write much about it as announcement post is suffice with the details, but I am wondering why Splinterland's team is shy about posting the release of the upcoming mini set "Escalation" on the Hive blockchain. Especially when buying this set with SPS, buyers will receive a significant discount.

Information regarding the upcoming Mini-Set: Escalation

First, the unstaking process for SPS is 25% each 7 days (or 28 days for a full 100% unstake).  The mini-set could go live as early as Feb 10th, which is 4 weeks from tomorrow.
Second, we will put out an "official post" within a week or two of the actual release with all the official information.
Third, community members have asked for more information - even if its not official, so that they could plan accordingly.  See below for that information.

The answers to questions below are currently our plan, however it is subject to change, so please be aware its not final until the official post is released.

A) the presale should include all 500k packs, that means that all the packs could theoretically sellout if there was enough demand in the presale.
B) the presale should be very similar to the Conclave Arcana presale, with leaderboard prizes almost identical (special guaranteed foils, titles, etc).  There should be a "presale exclusive" Legendary and Rare in the presale.  The other distribution methods for the presale should also be almost identical to the CA presale distribution, including the drawing at the end for the super hard to get Black Foils and Arcanes.
C) the main set should consist of 43 total cards initially: 12 commons, 12 rares, 8 epics, 11 legendaries.  In addition, there should be 6 more conflict legendary summoners (please see the last proposal by the SPS DAO to see the new distribution dynamics for those) 
D) while I don't want to leak any more information about the presale cards, I can share again with you an image of one of our new characters in the standard set. 

My main guess is that the team is waiting to post one week before only, so that they can post much concrete details and team also confident that this set will be get sold readily , so creating much hype around it is not needed.

If you are planning to take part in this presale with staked SPS, then time is now really limited and now you can unstake 4x amount of SPS , so you are ready with the amount of the SPS required. I will also suggest for not to wait for general sale as I feel this limited inventory if fully sold in presale then there will be no general sale.

I feel, based of player mood, it is quite possible that might fully get sold in presale itself.
