Welcome and I hope you all are enjoying an awesome day with your friends and family. For those are connected to this amazing web3 strategy game, I guess you are enjoying this game in your free time on a daily basis. Now if you are active player, most probably you are giving enough time into the Ranked season and fighting on the battlefield to climb up that trophy ladder to your your goal set for this season. Many of you have already a league tier in mind as a gold to enter, or if you are an OG player, then you maybe targeting one of the top leaderboard positions in champion league. But keep in mind that there are many other things to do in splinterlands apart from training and testing your skills, as you can engage in tournaments, brawls or Survival mode to earn even more SPS, Merit and Glint tokens while enjoying the game at its best.
One more thing to keep in mind while playing this game competitively is to upgrade your collection, especially if you are playing in the modern format. Now that the latest Conclave Arcane edition card-set is taking over the modern arena, upgrading this cards upto your favourable league’s level feels mandatory in order to stay ahead of the crowd and maintain a good Reward earning ratio. So all the best for this season and I hope you reach your goals before time.
Now, moving forward to the main topic of this post, today I will sharing the the last monster of the Fire element from Conclave Arcana and as you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the Oridum Graybrow monster. So, if you are interested, let us begin without any further ado.
The Oridum Graybrow is a monster type card that as you know, it got introduced just recently into the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana (CA) edition core cardset. This monster belongs to the Fore element and it comes from the Human bloodline. This monster requires a large 7 mana cost to be used in battles, so you can best use it when Playing medium to large mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCX cards in order to upgrade it to its max level 4. This monster carries a good melee attack and the main feature of this card is its large armour + health combo along with 5 abilities at its max level, which I am going to talk about below. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more in-depth details and usability.
Even at the level 1, this card possesses quite a buffed up amount of stats as you can from the chart abive. Here it carries a good 3 melee attack at 4 speed with a large 6 armour on its back and a decent 4 health bar. Apart from that, it also carries the Thorns ability since its initial level, which automatically transforms it into an anti-melee card.
THORNS
- Returns 2 physical damage to the attacker when hit by a melee attack.
When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, then it gets an increased 4 melee attack, but all its remaining stats remain same as of its previous level. ie, 4 speed with 6 armour and 4 health. However, it does get a new ability at thus level called Resurgence, which will perform self resurrection and also comes with other anti magic abilities, but however, it does come with a twist as stated below.
RESURGENCE
- Self-ressurects once per battle with 100% health and armour. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are applied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.
As this monster gets upgraded to its next level of 3, there only its health stat gets a little but increment, but all of its rest stats remain the same. At level 3 it gets 4 melee attack power at 4 speed with 6 armour and an increased 5 health. Not only that, but also it gets not just one, but 2 new abilities at this level called Piercing and Magic Relfect. While the Piercing ability will tackle armoured enemy troops much easily, the Magic Reflect ability on the other hand will send damage back to magic thrower upon hit.
PIERCING
- Damage in excess of the target's armour is applied to health.
MAGIC REFLECT
- Returns 50% of the damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by an attacker.
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, then it gets the same stats as of its previous level, i.e 4 melee attack power at 4 speed with 6 armour and 5 health. But luckily, it gets another brand new ability at its max level called Spite. With this ability now, thus monster suddenly becomes more deadly with a 100% counterattack chance upon its death.
SPITE
- When defeated, 100% chance to counterattack.
Last bit not least, this monster may seem most power at its gold league or level 3, because at max level it does not get any buff in its stats and only gets a new ability, but if you look carefully, when you combo its Spite ability’s counterattack with Resurgence ability’s extra life, that becomes double counterattack coupled with a tough stats and other amazing abilities. Not only that, but this card also holds a good amount of melee firepower and a tank Like defensive stats. So overall, I think ORIDUM GRAYBROW is definitely a good choice to use as defensive purpose and worth of keeping in your collection. What do you say?
