Welcome to Week 2, 2026 edition of #SlothlySavers! Technically our first 'real' week and first year, but we're excited to be officially launching #SlothlySavers!
We did a semi-official launch yesterday to set out the idea of Slothlysavers and give you a chance to get signed up. Today, Thursday 8th January, marks the first official #SlothlySavers Club update!
The mission:
Sloth and Steady Savings, either on or off Hive. Join the SlothlySavers as we work towards our Savings goals week by week. Starting slow, compounding and growing. Our earning potential is only held back by our own self-belief! Join the Slothly Saving Club and become one of our #SlothlySavers today!
How to join the #SlothlySavers club:
Set your Slothly Savings goal for 2026. Create a post setting out your intentions for the year ahead. We recommend 2 Savings goals, a 'Main' goal and a 'Secondary' goal. We also recommend setting 'realistic' goals to help you avoid losing motivation.

A simply a penny a day?
No matter how big or small your savings goal, join #SlothlySavers and work towards it, holding yourself accountable week by week by sharing your posts with the community! Could you save $100 by the end of the year by posting and curating Hive content? Maybe even $1000? The possibilities are endless, set your Goal today and join the #SlothlySavers
Weekly accountability and reason to post!
Look out for our Weekly SlothlySavers posts, leave a comment with your saving journey and a link to your weekly update post, and support the other SlothlySavers as they share their stories and weekly Saving reports! You'll also be able to take part in our weekly prizes draw and feature in our #SlothlySavers update chart!
SlothlySavers Weekly Bonus
We're adding Commentrewarder to every #SlothlySavers post, and we're giving you some small bonuses to help with your savings goals!
Each week, one saver who comment's their weekly progress will win 1 HSBI. Plus, we'll have a weekly draw with 1 user receiving 2 SlothBuzz tokens.
The HSBI will help you earn even more votes with every post on Hive, and the Slothbuzz tokens can be used to curate the awesome content posted to Hive with the SlothBuzz Tag! Continue to grow your power and strive towards those savings goals!

It's as simple as that! Set your target, keep us up to date with your savings, and become a #SlothlySaver! Using the #SlothlySaver tag on your posts each week will help us keep track! Feel free to post to any community and use any other tags you feel are suited to your posts. They don't have to be 'just' a savings update post, you can add them with any other content that suits your style.

We've decided to join #SlothlySavers, but with a little twist!
Our goal was always to BURN tokens! So, we thought we'd add a burn goal for the year! We're aiming to burn 100 #SlothBuzz tokens, I guess, which helps all the other savers a little more! Especially if they're clever enough to add #slothbuzz to their savings posts (or any other post for that matter!)
We're also keeping a 'savings goal' in case we're not allowed the burn goal! 500 HP by the end of 2026, slow steps, but we're looking to continue buzzing across Hive! We look forward to supporting the SlothlySavers and BURNING more tokens!

Use any and all tags you like, as we've mentioned above, we recommend #slothbuzz #alive and consider #busybees, #bbh and maybe even #pimp or #unicorn. There are many awesome communities on Hive, and we want users to pursue their savings wherever they feel confident.
#SlothlySavers
No community requirements, and the only tag 'required' is #SlothlySavers, so we can keep things 'together'. No real post requirements, except you tell us your Savings goal, and update each week.
We're going to make a slight change so users can also participate by simply commenting on the weekly SlothlySavers post. Although we do recommend making a weekly post, it's a bonus reason to post once a week on Hive!
We know not everyone will want to create a 'savings post' each week, so we don't want to exclude them from this saving journey!
We're trying to keep it as simple as possible so even a sloth can participate.

Sloth and steady, those pennies soon add up! When I was doing some digging for the slothlysavers launch, I read through the penny a day challenge and am tempted to join that myself!

+8,000,000 VESTS
An untracked goal will also be to start withdrawing some of my initial investment in HIVE in a limited way that doesn't harm my overall account growth.
