It's still possible to find pennies from the 1960's in change, here in the US, but to find one in this condition is pretty rare.

I suppose I'm attracted to the shiny coins first in this collection. This penny grabs my attention and doesn't let me go.

The detail on this penny is so sharp, you could almost count the steps on the Lincoln Memorial. The statue of Lincoln can be clearly seen.

It was fun getting some closeups of this shiny and very clear 1962 penny. This has held up pretty good for 62 years! BTW, a penny this old in 1962 would have been from 1900. Amazing, right?
