Copper: the Metal Most People Ignore
Visited a metals dealer and had some great conversations about the future of money - which metals have the most interesting aspects about it. I mentioned copper, but obviously right now it doesn't have much attention.
This dealer was all about the GOLD. I can understand why. Gold is always in demand. And being very expensive, it's also very popular to sell right now. While I was there, at least two people came in selling their gold jewelry.
But copper. I saw some very nice copper rounds for sale, very cheap. Even though it's only about $0.30 of actual copper (and I paid $2), we don't know what the future may hold.
Once copper exceeds $32/lb, this coin will contain $2 of copper.
Copper just spiked to almost $6.00 / lb before crashing down to under $5. Just goes to show how quickly values can change quickly.
Eyes on. When copper does it's thing, it might be the dark horse nobody was paying attention to. We are so used to calculating copper by the lb, it's going to be shocking the numbers we might see.
There's a reason copper pennies are disappearing from circulation, just like the silver did after 1965.

If the Reset I’ve been writing about happens, it will probably cost less than 5 of our Copper Coated Zinc Pennies to buy One Pound of Copper… In other words, you will probably be better off obtaining $2 in Pennies…. I recently ordered a Box of 1,000 U.S. $1 Coins at my Bank…. They will call to let me know when they come in…. I’m paying Rock Bottom “Face Value” prices in Fiat USD’s that will only get me $10 in U.S. Coinage, once we’re on the other side of the Reset…
The purpose of coinage is the intrinsic metal. Before there were coins, there were chunks of metal with a mark stamped on them, signifying the weight and authority of the weigher. This eventually became coinage. By removing the valuable metals (like copper to zinc) and maintaining a value of 1/100th of a fiat dollar, means the value of the CENT shrinks right along with the value of the DOLLAR.
It's quite possible that zinc may also rise in value, but because so much of it is circulating, it will always be abundant. Copper is getting scarcer and scarcer as it's pulled from circulation and (quietly being) melted down.
If the reset is done by fiat regardless of the intrinsic metal, is not a true reset back to historic coinage, it would be an artificial adjustment of value, same as adding zeros to our dollars. !BBH
The people who removed our Copper Pennies from Circulation are going to be kicking themselves for Melting them… I’m sure I already mentioned that 5 Copper Coated Zinc Pennies will buy “One Pound” of Copper, on the other side of the Reset… I already have a blog ready to post in a couple hours, that will help you understand what’s heading our way…

You saying that the coin that you purchased on your picture has "about $0.30 of actual copper" and you paid about $2.00 for that means that the coin has only about 15% copper, which is quite obvious by the color of the coin !INDEED. 🤓😏 !WEIRD !HOPE !PIZZA
I should clarify: the round is 100% copper, but there is a massive markup. 1 oz of copper is worth about $0.30 and I paid $2. Most copper rounds go for $1.00 - $3.00 for their novelty. The photo didn't really capture the copper color of the coin, so I can see how all this together one would conclude a low copper content. !BBH

Undervalued for sure, and it's demand is only growing. Fortunately, the administration has put it on high priority to get more mines producing copper in the states. Our dependence of imports really is so high that it's scary. China is making it hard with rare earths, imagine what they could do with copper?
If we get squeezed of copper and we're not producing our own, we have a problem. The North Peninsula of Michigan is known for it's massive copper reserves, but ya gotta get it out! !BBH
