Some people here, or should I say many people here don't even bother with bins, as they simply toss the rubbish outside. Not only is it a real eye sore, but rats and other pests invade the trash heaps that eventually form, and it can make the people sick. Our rivers are also favorite dumping places.

I will talk to some recyclers about it, and I have bookmarked your post.

Yeah when I worked in Africa, I spend so much time trying to educate people on rubbish. They did that too, complained about the rats, and I was but you throw rubbish out, that attracts the rats and they in turn attract snakes as they have a food source.
It was a never ending battle and sad to see things haven't changed.
