Freelancing, well… start building slowly, but not too slow. Don’t be too patient either, definitely not. I don’t know your financial situation, but if you have some slack, then go in! Just be careful when investing in stuff. We always think at least 3 times about every investment, is this required? Is this useful? Do we want this, or do we need this? And by when will it repay itself (the ROI).
