Sunday funday

(edited)

It's already Sunday, the first day of a new week, also the first Sunday of 2026. I need to run to the store to pick up some wet cat food, some carrots, and a few other things, so I can make soup.

Time flies so quickly as you get older, you need to make lists and try to get stuff done every day, or it piles up and years start to fly past without dealing with things. I have a whole closet full of stuff, and I know there is a lot in there that I haven't touched in quite a while. Am I read to toss it?

I need to, there's too much that just doesn't fit anymore. In order to deal with it, I need to bring a few baskets up for sorting, and then I need to shut the cats out of my room for an hour or so. Then I can make a disaster of my bed, by pulling all my laundry out and 'sorting it'. The only problem is, if I don't complete the task immediately, it ends up just getting thrown back in the closet again so I can sleep.

So it can wait for another day, today I will just make soup and play Fortnite winterfest, clean up as best I can what is obvious and needs to be done, but won't stress about the closet yet. I work tonight, so that is what I am saving energy for today. Should I go to wholesale or walmart? Hmm...

Update: 1:37pm - I went to Walmart and bought a few things. Wet cat food for $25, cheese, 5 cucumbers, a box of hot rods, and carrots.
