Here on Hive, and in the world, Curation is serious work.

These are human upvotes, #proofofbrain and I have been here over 8 years, so that works out to about 17.1 per day, not too bad. In the beginning I had no idea really what was going on, except that I could add a little bit of HTML to my posts and for me it just made a lot of sense. For as little as I understood about how Hive works, I liked that I could put some < img src=" "> tags and format it.

So here we are, mapping the web3.0 with our posts.

Where are you? Where is everyone? So many users haven't logged in for weeks, or months. And of the users who have been gone for years, I hope they return, and that they are doing well. We are the pioneers of this new kind of decentralized web and its not flawless by any means. However everyone should come to Hive each day ready to work, to serve the community with helpful comments and with the upvotes they are writing for. To be the kind of friend to a stranger that we all hope for, that someone would read our posts and see our vision and share the dream with us, at least with a vote and a comment and a follow.

Can we do more? Yes.

Lets focus our attention to the /Created feed to make sure that every user who is putting in effort to write their story, sharing something of personal interest, or demonstrating some sort of activity, gets an upvote. All around the world, Hivvers are composing their best ideas and that is something I felt strongly in high school was very important to do, that one day we would figure out how to do. To find the best ideas, and really collaborate to work on making the best possible future realized each day.

I didn't know what that would look like, and none of us have all the answers, but each of us has something valuable to share, and half the work here beyond authoring our own posts and writing comments, is being the generous Curators that will not just vote but understand and appreciate what each post is trying to say. I spent some time today scrolling through my Followers list and there are many who have not been online for weeks, months, and even years. But if you are reading this, comment so I know that you are still here with us!
