It is raining at the baseball game, although it held off until the 9th inning at least. The excitement is real, as the home team was leading 1-0 and the away team is fighting to tie it up.
The rain clouds above form a long dark ridge from here to home, and I hope this is the beginning of a downpour. We are apparently having oue rainy season in July this year, I'm sure the farmers would be happier if the moisture showed up in May or June, late is better than never!
I've been observing the seasonal drift, as the hottest week is shifting from Late August, to early August, to the end of July, and maybe the beginning of July last year. However this summer, was the last week of June when I got absolutely cooked at the rodeo.
Will the leaves begin to turn in August, like they seem to be, acting like they used to in September? Maybe I am imagining things, but hotter summer extremes contrast the frigid winter burn we get in February, when it's either +32 or -32 'C and then sort of dreary in between.
For now, summer is here, but I continue to clean and prepare for the season turning, when the fight for AC turns back to the fight for heat. Its hard to beat nature, but we will sure try.
Hopefully there are some home runs and action packed plays to make memories of the evening. As for me, I am looking forward to getting home by midnight.
11:56pm, home! Success πββοΈ βΎοΈ
