Playing with AI art - Feeling hungry for food or more AI?

To Grubb or not to Grubb! The last time we focused in on a building with the GAK, I didn't love the returns, but I'm determined to give it another go and see if we can massage the verbiage and come out with something quite cool.
Perhaps it can play around with the reflections and add more dimension and intrigue. More importantly though, have you ever tried a burger from Grubb's???

This is an awesome first go, I didn't think that it would utilize the reflections on the mirror, but it very cleverly did, and turned it into a true NYC diner feel, well done AI!

Really love the sketch effect to this one, without losing the neighbourhood feel, but I think it's starting to get away from the more urban mood, and turning the area into Pleasantville. Let's try adding some graffiti....

Now we're back in business! Adding graffiti definitely pulls in the street vibe and I can totally see this as your local dive hidden down an alley in NYC. What if we play around with another style?

Style - landscape

Trying out landscape to see if it makes it more fantastical or can keep the integrity of the image. Half of it works with the reflection, but it seems to have turned the other window reflection into a work of art. Not my favourite, but at least we haven't walked onto a set of Final Fantasy.

Definitely added some rougher elements and details, but it can't seem to figure out whether to turn the entire image into an oil painting or just parts of it.

We haven't given Anime a go yet, and it didn't disappoint! I like that it's given that sketch effect, but not in a cartoon-like way. In general it seems to always want to turn the window reflection side with 'Vegetarian' on it, into a painting of some sort, no matter the style.

I should have known that Fantasy would make it go rogue, this is definitely not the route I was hoping it would go, we're now venturing back into the future and it's almost gone building happy, adding them all over the place. And the muted colours really flattens the overall effect.

There are elements that I like about it, with it looking more like sketch of an area, and definitely looks like a run down neighbourhood, but the overall image doensn't really grab my attention. There is a loss in an element that draws you in.

Conclusion

Three cheers for Grubbs! It has given me a newfound desire to look at using more store/restaurant fronts with reflections :) It has also reminded me to go there for lunch!
Interestingly enough, the first go was my fave and I'm learning that when we're trying to get the image to give an overall street and urban feel, we do still need there to be a focal element whether it's a thing or colour, to draw us in.
