I think change is baked into the very fabric of reality, nothing stays at rest even when it seems it is at rest from our pov. We humans can be lazy creatures who'd always default to taking the easy way out but that's not really why we're here. Change equals growth, and growth equals evolution, evolve or die trying, there's no in between :)
