Change is the heartbeat of humanity. From the moment we came alive as babies or infants down to being adults, even as old as grand pa, change never ceases to come, it never ceases to challenge our being to provoke dynamism, change has been both our greatest challenge and our greatest gift. And yet we somewhat often fear it, resist it, and try to hold on to what feels familiar and comfortable for us. But hereâs the truth: if there is no change, there is no life. No growth. No humanity.
The Evolution of Change
Look at our origins. Early humans were not the strongest beings on the planet. We don't have tiger claws so sharp to hunt preys with ease, or so strong a shield like the tortoise shell to protect us from predators, or Legs to run like cheetah. What kept us alive was adaptability, we did not remain stunt to think like animals, but continuously discover new things that are uncomfortable to us, give rise to better civilization. We migrated when climates shifted, invented tools when nature tested us, learned and formed languages to solve problems together, even formulas. Every step in civilization from agriculture, to electricity, to the internet was driven by change, and change as we know it people... Will be the drive to more civilization.
History is full of examples of what happens when change is embraced, and what happens when itâs ignored. Look at the best countries in the world today, they yielded to change, hence they continuously out grow majority of countries. Those that held too tightly to the past eventually collapsed. Change, in other words, has never been optional, it has always been the condition for survival, the very thing that goes hand in hand with growth, it's like this change = growth, wether we grow to be good or bad, the good thing is 'we grow', for as long as we change to grow, we turn bad to good and vise vaser.
Change on the Inside
Because change isnât just externalâitâs wired into us. 'Neuroscience shows that our brains are constantly reshaping themselves through neuroplasticity' bla bla bla all science, I mean our spirit longs for change, as we learn and experience Life teachings and events, our spirit expects these knowledge to bring us to change accordingly. Every new skill learned, every perspective altered, rewrites who we are 'Literally'đĽ¸.
And yet, as individuals, we often resist. Why? Because change feels uncomfortable. It asks us to leave behind certainty, to make choices of faith that rise to doubt, "oh no I'm not sure I can do it" and stuff. But discomfort is the birthplace of growth. Think of any meaningful transformation in your life: starting a career, ending a toxic relationship, becoming a parent, or moving to a new place. None of those came without uncertainty. But none of them left you the same person either.
To refuse change is to live smaller than what you were built for. To accept it is to become more fully alive and hopeful.
Change in Todayâs World
In the modern age, change is accelerating. Technology, culture, and ideas spring up at lightning speed. Companies that fail to adapt are quickly replaced. Skills that were essential yesterday are out of style tomorrow.
But itâs not just about keeping up with the world, itâs about shaping it to be better. Those who embrace change donât just survive transitions; they drive them. They become the innovators, the leaders, the visionaries who create the future.
Becoming More Human
So what does it mean to be human? It means accepting that we are works in progress. It means recognizing that change isnât an enemy, itâs the very thing that makes us who we are.
The question is not whether change will come. It always will. The question is: 'will you resist it, or will you let it shape you into the next version of yourself?'
Therefore we ask: "no change?" answer: "Not human" 'Literally'đĽ¸.

Wow, this is very commendable, I've learnt one or two lessons here, the main bone of concentration as you said is when the "change" comes will we adapt to it let it shape us or we resist it. We're humans that make mistakes so being dynamic and accepting change is the way forward. @justin.ahama
Well said sir, it gives me joy to see that my message has been understand stood. Bringing oneself to accept change is hard, but the fact remains that if we cut ties with change, then we should not expect our current situation to change, lol as time permits you, permit change to make make you dynamic. No matter the climate we adaptđ.
I think change is baked into the very fabric of reality, nothing stays at rest even when it seems it is at rest from our pov. We humans can be lazy creatures who'd always default to taking the easy way out but that's not really why we're here. Change equals growth, and growth equals evolution, evolve or die trying, there's no in between :)
Amazing insight sir, as it seems, we can't escape change, it's frequency is limitless. We are built to change.
This is a powerful piece.
I love how you tied change to both survival and growth, it's true, without it we remain stuck in cycles that donât serve us.
Change might be uncomfortable, but itâs also the proof that weâre alive and moving forward.
The way you framed it âno change = not humanâreally hit home.
Thank you for sharing @justin.ahama
Wow, thank you ma
My pleasure
Change is the centre of our core as humans. Whether we accept or resist, it still comes. And yes, when we accept, we rewrite our stories by the chapter. It gets more interesting.
