Moonkarts: Nice competition in Play2Earn game.

In the current concluded season of the Moonkart's, I felt the competition has increased in the game, though the number of players might remained same as I did not notice anyone new name in the leaderboard ranking that did not featured on previous seasons. I am not sure why Moonkarts is not attracting much players because it do has play2earn concept and interestinly , I already explained in my earlier post that the barrier entry cost for this play2earn game is also very low. Though current price not be same as mentioned in the post but they are not skyrocketed either and some cases they actually went down. Also it might be best idea to check on the game discord for the price.

In last season, I have gained 8920 COLONY tokens as I stood at position 8. Also my ranking points at the end of this season were 1721 and I rememember, in the last season they were below 1700 points. So my ranking points improved in previous season, so my ranking and rewards. In this scenario, why I am saying that there is more competition in the last season?

The above screenshot was taken 3 hours before the end of the season end, it shows that 176540 orbital points, I will get 1721 COLONY rewards. Actually rewards in orbital leaderboards are dynamic, as player collect more orbital points, the same reward pool(fixed amount of COLONY token) gets distributed to players in proportion to their orbital points and COLONY staking factor. So, I only received 1,706 COLONY tokens as rewards when the season ended.

In the previous season, I earned 2141 COLONY tokens as orbital rewards, despite of my orbital points being less, my staked colony tokens were also less (less staking factor). This is almost more than 20% reduction in rewards with more points. So this made me say that there is definitely more competition, more game played, and fewer rewards disbursed.

I feel that this is one of the best play2earn games which has both mode i.e Single player or Player vs Environment but unfortunately it do not yeild any rewards for playing. In Multiplayer mode it is Player vs Player, and one needs to burn fuel and win races to get rewarded.
