We have something in the pipeline

When looking at the track record of Liotes, we can without exaggerating say that our concept is working. While many projects, especially on hive engine, went under, Liotes continued to grow. Our tokenomics are working well and everything is evolving as we planned it. The project is growing slowly but steadily.

The one weak point of the project...

However, there is one big thing that we didn't consider. While Liotes is evolving as planned, it is doing so in respect to Hive, the base token of the chain. Hive didn't exactly evolve the way we planned and this is the one big weakness that sometimes is discouraging for the community and also for us. All the efforts we all put into this, is kind of diminished by the decay of hive prices.

We could now lament ourselves, give up or... learn and do better. We are not the kind of people to give up and neither do we like to lament on things. We have a concept that works but we need to apply it in a way that it is decoupled from the hive price.

After several trials and ideas that didn't really work out, we are working on something that should be interesting for Liotes and for you.

A new project in the pipeline

We are in the planning phase of a project that would leverage the community, affiliate marketing, bitcoin and other chains to build a system that would allow us to:

• bring external value into the project
• create a programmatic buying mechanism to purchase hive
• increase the demand for LEN tokens
• bring new earning potential for you
• bring new people to hive and to liotes
• create an external income source for the project to cover the server costs for our witness nodes

Since a lot of things are not really tied down and still in discussion between us, we will share more about this project in the coming weeks.

I believe that this could be something that brings a well needed new dynamism into our little ecosystem. I know that we have talked about such things several times already but each time something didn't ad up. What is different this time is that we apply the same framework that works for Liotes on hive but in a different context, we create a kind of copy of something that is proven to work...

The numbers of this week

We managed again to burn 500 LEN tokens this week. APR in the diesel pool went up a bit because of the lower hive price.
