Today, sharing another HIVE podcast called Jabber Talkie. The video contains heavy profanity and it cannot be played on this site; you need to sign in to YouTube to pass the age restriction.
In this extended 90-minute episode of Jabber Talkie, moderators Buttcoins and Meno host an engaging roundtable discussion on the diverse approaches to community curation within the HIVE blockchain ecosystem. There are some disagreements, and even some strong language - just a few times this roundtable gets "not safe for work" or not family friendly.
Join us as we bring together three influential HIVE project leaders with contrasting perspectives on managing HIVE Power, content curation, and community governance:
Joseph Savage reveals the strategies behind HSBI (Hive Staked Based Income) and their unique approach to user curation and stake management. https://content.hivesbi.com/
Enginewitty breaks down how the PIMP community (Paper In My Pocket) balances decentralization with content quality, while focusing on making money.
Pharesim shares insights from Curangel's origin and curation philosophy as well.
This conversation dives deep into the challenges and solutions each project has developed around:
ā
Effective content selection and validation mechanisms
ā
User onboarding strategies that actually work
ā
Community retention techniques in a competitive landscape
ā
Security considerations for key management
ā
Balancing centralized efficiency with decentralized governance
Whether you're a HIVE enthusiast, blockchain governance geek, or just curious about how digital communities self-organize, this episode offers valuable insights into the different models for managing collective resources in decentralized ecosystems.

That was awesome!
I'm getting a backlog of podcasts to which I want to listen, and now this one is getting added to the list too! While all the conflicting perspectives on Hive is more than a little challenging, I'm looking forward to this one! š š š ⨠š¤
Iām sorry. The Hive speeds up more than it slows down. @ecoinstant

While I know what my fellow countryman @pharesim is doing I learned about @enginewitty paper work lol - new to me (I know about the guy though). I also appreciate what the guys around HSBI do - I still do not really get the maths behind this program I am afraid - sorry @josephsavage :-) - just nothing for my personal understanding.
Great podcast guys.
Glad you tuned in and got some info from it š
