You can start the participation anytime after the post gets created. Does not need to be on the HPUD ... What needs to happen on the HPUD for you to be eligible is the minimum 10 HIVE power up.

I think I understand, I can turn it on today if I want, the important thing is that on the day of the hive power up I have at least 10 hive on?
