7000HP! - Hive and Hive Engine Power Up Day February 2025

Hey Hivers,

Oops I did it again! Yep, not the first time and probably not the last: last month I powered-up, prepared all the data for my HPUD post, then thought I'd finish it later, and of course two weeks later, it was just too late to post it! Anyways, I couldn't miss it this month since I reached the 7000HP milestone! Yes, I do realize for many that is not really impressive, especially knowing how long I've been on Hive. But it's purely 'organic', only from posts rewards and curation, and never powering down, so I consider it a great achievement!
As usual, I'll also take the opportunity to review the details of my account performance and growth, as well as my goals and targets

HIVE

I've been pretty consistent the last few months with a 16.666HP PowerUp, slightly higher than what used to be my usual PowerUp. So, I guess that's now my usual monthly PowerUp. Again, I know that's pretty small, but since I still set most of my daily posts as 100% powered up, liquid Hive can be hard to come by, even more at the current price. I want to keep a few, not really for trading as I'm too lazy for that, but mostly for next HPUDs.

I did increase my small HBD monthly transfer to savings. Still very small for the same reason, I try to convert most of the few ones I come across. But step by step, it's building up, and I'm now not too far from 200HBD, my next target.

The account growth stayed almost identical to the previous month, a small slow down compared to two months ago (but as a reminder, it was my best month). Starting from 6852HP, I could add 172HP to reach 7024HP (like I said, 7000HP, yay!!!). That's a little bit over my 5HP daily target, all good!

And adding today's PowerUP, that's a total of 7040HP, with a total monthly increase of 188HP. Very consistent with previous months, except a slightly stronger November.

SPORTS

It's not looking as good with SPORTS. It's not exactly bad, it's also been consistent with just barely above 250k added to my stake the last 3 months. I am still satisfied with my stake hopefully reaching 22M around early March.

ALIVE

The We Are Alive tribe has resumed some activities! Such a good news! I am not participating in all of them, but I started joining the weekly staking challenge, as I stake my ALIVE every day anyways. I'll try and join the other activities soon as well. One of them is setting and monitoring goals, which is something I also do anyways, just not formally in a post or comment. So it should not be too difficult.
Anyways, I could add about 626AP to my stake in January, which is a bit short of my 700AP target. I did reach the 20k milestone before the end of 2024 and that was another good achievement.

PHOTO

I missed my 2000 PHOTO monthly target again, but it's also been quite consistent the last 3 months, somewhere between 1600 and 1700. Maybe I'm a little too aggressive with this one.

LOLZ

A couple months ago, I set a fairly strong target for LOLZ with 800 a month. With about 737 added to my stake, I missed it in January. But my delegations are still working well, and I think I can increase a few of them. I should reach the 10k milestone before the end of March.

Targets

• I think it's getting challenging with the current price, but I will keep my daily HP target at 5. Let's go for it!
• The past 3 months made it clear, I cannot add 300k SPORTS monthly anymore. Let's adjust my target at 250k, especially considering February is a short month.
• I slightly missed my ALIVE target several months in a row, but I will try again to add 700AP in February. This will be tough.
• Just like SPORTS, it seems my PHOTO target was a bit too aggressive. Let's try 1700 for February, which is still more than the last 3 months.
• Like I just mentioned, adding 800 LOLZ per month has been difficult. I think 750 is more reasonable for February.
• Like I mentioned in previous months, I accumulate several other 2nd layer tokens, but I don't think they reached a level high enough to include them here. Maybe next month. And same for my diesel pools liquidity. Not enough yet...

And that is it. Not my best month, but pretty good nonetheless. And as usual, the growth stays very consistent and steady. We'll try and keep it the same for months to come!
