I think, I have now almost stopped trading and accumulating the Hive-Engine tokens now. The CTP debacle and afterwards big promises of LEO that never got materialized in the ground realities just making me now to a very cautious approach for all of the Hive-Engine token. I am still actively trading in the DEC and SPS, but I do not consider them as the Hive-Engine token instead I consider them as part Splinterland's ecosystem and they do have a presence in exchanges and chains outside the Hive too, so they are now in Hive-Engine as an additional exchange to them and there existence not at all dependent on Hive-Engine (IMO).
But now, if we come to the BEE token, then BEE is a very special token in the Hive-Engine. BEE token is the native utility token of the Hive Engine ecosystem. All the tokens created on Hive-Engine require paying the BEE token as token creation fees. Apart from the token creation Hive-Engine offers variety of the functionality like
a.) Token Creation.
b.) NFTs.
c.) Outpost.
d.) DAO
e.) Pack Manager
f.) Airdrop
g.) Claimdrop
h.) Mining
i.) Distribution.
I will not go on the detail of the every offerings of the Hive-Engine but first three are the major and most used offering in the Hive-Engine. All of these offerings accept payment as the BEE tokens and this is one of the main reason that keep the demand of the BEE token.
Even offering like Token Creation has further sub offering like whether you want it enabled for staking or whether you want to create it as a "miner" token, and all of these qualify for the additional fees that is again need to be paid in the BEE tokens. All these fees keep the demand of the BEE tokens.
If you see the chart of the BEE token, you will clearly see that BEE token is acting good and strong if compared to the any other Hive-Engine tokens.
And for the volume part, do not get fooled by the volume mentioned in this chart as majority of volume token come from the Hive-Engine pools
Above is the snapshot of top 3 pools, I overall counted 18 active pools for the BEE tokens and 2 inactive pools. If you check these pools then you will see that the majority of the volume is happening in these pools.
I do have myriads of token in Hive-Engine and I am paying no attention to them as my bags are almost worth nothing in dollar value. Apart from BEE token, I am currently building my stake in NEOXAG token. Good thing about NEOXAG is that it's price remain fairly constant in Hive price and it is backed by "neoxian" , one of the whale in Hive and considered as a mini exchange in itself for its holding.
So, what tokens are you holding in Hive-Engine, and think that is worthy of holding in the Hive-Engine.
