What Happens to One, Happens to All

There was a hum in the air as the energy nymphs gathered at the base of the tree. The main energy field was in view, pulsing, glowing, swirling around before them. Sammy was so excited.

There was only certain times in the energy cycle when the younger energy nymphs get opportunity to move into the collective stream of consciousness. It was like humans growing up and getting out on their own except the energy nymphs join into the collective stream.

There they meet all the energy that has gone before them and all that is now. Together they learn and grow and move forward in their eternal lives. It’s an exciting time of growth for energy nymphs.

“Hey everyone! Let’s enter the stream. It’s our time.” Sammy reached over and grabbed Saucy’s lightstream to float with her into the stream. “This is so exciting.”

Sammy paused, he could feel a dark shadow some where behind them. He turned and looked back. They all needed to enter the stream together. They had been brought into consciousness together and had done everything at the same time in preparation for entering the stream.

He sensed before seeing the presence in the shadows, Silent Star hovered above a stump.

“Silent Star? Why are you back in the shadows and not moving toward the light?”

“I’m not going any where. This light stuff is nonsense.”

The energy nymphs collectively gasped. They were going to need Silent Star to change her energy from shadow to light soon or they would miss being able to go into the light.

Saucy floated over toward Silent Star. She’d always been an odd one, hanging back and reluctant to be with the group. The others thought of her as nervous but just assumed she would eventually follow when the others went ahead.

“Silent Star, the first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. We all need you to take this step with us. Why do you want to hold us back?”

Silent Star looked down toward the ground and didn’t reply at first. The others were abuzz talking among themselves. A feeling of fear was growing among them. They knew they were destined to join the collective but were fearful of being left out.

Finally, she looked up toward them, “I have never felt part of anything. I’m used to being alone and I want to stay that way. You guys go without me, I am better here.”

The others floated up behind Saucy. Sammy moved beside her looking at Silent Star.

“Silent Star, we always knew you were uneasy about doing things with us but, you’ve never been alone. We always waited for you and respected your need to be a bit apart. We never wanted you to feel alone. We need you. What happens to one, happens to us all. That is why we have to enter the stream together. If you don’t come with us, we have to stay here.”

As he finished speaking he sensed a strong energy as the light in the area surged brighter. He looked around and saw some of the collective had broken away and a large ball of energy had floated into the center of them. Small energies broke off and came alongside each of the energy nymphs as the ball moved toward Silent Star enveloping her in their light.

Sammy watched in amazement as he realized these were elders who had left the main stream to surround and support the group of young energy nymphs. The main group seemed to be communicating somehow with Silent Star who had sat upright in the middle and appeared to be listening intently.

Sammy could feel pulsing energy around them. He was starting to feel the earlier excitement again as hope they would still get into the collective stream. He sensed rather than heard a soft voice right beside him telling him it was going to be okay. This must be how the consciousness communicates.

Silent Star floated away from the stump and straightened up within the ball of energies. Sammy was startled to sense her voice urging them toward the stream, she was ready to take the step forward into the future. The energies floated toward the collective stream.

What happens to one, happens to them all.
