Love & Harmony
Life demands love, harmony and intimacy,
We are unable to give even that,
We lose precious moments of life,
When we stand on the brink of time and find ourselves alone,
And look back in fear,
Then we see a cloud of smoke rising
The eyes burn with its bitterness,
The breaths get suffocated,
The voice is lost in that dark astringent smoke,
That smoke scorches the earth, makes the blue sky black,
Hides the figures of our loved ones,
Then we try to be close to them,
To get love and intimacy
We keep looking helplessly,
The smoke fills our hearts in no time,
And then we think again - where have we been entangled till now?
Why didn't we listen to life which was asking for love, harmony and closeness,
Who wanted to be better and wanted to make us better too
A true human being...an example of humanity brimming with compassion and emotions,
Then with a heart heavy with the clouds of so much pain
We become desperate to embrace life, to give it love,
Repenting why we wasted so much of our life like this....
If only we could share love, harmony and closeness
Then this earth, this sky would not have turned black and
We would not have lived with the burden of smoke in our hearts
