Through the years I've been using a phone, and I've been privileged to download and use various types of apps. Most, of course, play their role, and I enjoyed them, but when it comes to one that stands out and I was super thankful for discovering it, those ones are very few. So today below I'll be talking about one of those apps, which plays a crucial role in my life, especially in my profession as a teacher, and I'd be sharing it with the hope that other teachers would discover it, use it, and benefit from its outstanding features.

One of the best applications I've come across since using one is none other than the "Kahoot app." It has greatly helped me and improved me and also made my service delivery much better and more productive than it is to be, and for that reason I can't help but tell of its good side and hope others will use and benefit from it as well. I've been using this app for the past one and a half years, and I can't seem to get enough of it, given the way it has helped me in my profession, going on to make teaching and learning much more fun and productive and the like.
I was introduced to or discovered this app via a seminar hosted by the Lagos state government; one of the speakers at the event talked about the app and even used it for practical purposes for better understanding, and I can't help but be wowed by how impressed I was and how instrumental it was to making my life and work easier. And since then I've been making use of it almost every week, but during such sections and when school is off (because I still find a way to refresh my student mind during the holiday season, all thanks to the Karrot app that makes it possible).
I'm sure you'll be wondering what the app does, so I'll explain that briefly. One thing it does is that it makes learning much more fun and engaging than my contemporary style of teaching. It also goes on to enhance understanding and improve students' memory. Another thing it does is that it encourages active participation amongst the learners. Most of all, it's easy to use, supports teamwork and competition, and gives instant feedback. Most importantly, like I said earlier, it is useful beyond the classroom, as it can be used for quizzes, training, workshops, presentations, and the like.

It has helped me in the classroom for presentations, for teaching, to improve students' learning and understanding, and also for assessment that also helps me score the students based on how well they perform and the like. And that's not forgetting how it's still used beyond the classroom. So for that reason, I'll be recommending it to others, especially teachers, who I believe would find it as a great tool that'll make teaching and learning easier. And I'm sure they'll appreciate it and not only use it themselves but also recommend it to fellow teachers they know around them.
That's about it on how I save and the likes, it's an entry to the indiaunited community weekly prompt, you can click on this link to see the topic for and as well participate.
