Financial Readiness for Goals, Family, and the Future

Saving is very important, and it is one of the habits we must invoke this year if we want to sail through different storms and challenges this year might present in the near future. Saving will go on to play a vital role in making my life pleasant and ease me a lot of stress and burden I could find myself in had I not saved, and that's why I wouldn't joke with it nor discourage others from taking the same steps, because my life and accomplishments in the year 2025 are not only a testament of God's grace but also of my savings habits that come to save me in days of want, so for that reason I'd be talking extensively about savings and all that surrounds it.

When it comes to savings, one thing I've come to tell myself is that there's nothing too small to be saved, and neither is an amount too small to remove something to save from. This ideology has greatly helped me accumulate funds that will later become a life saver in the near future, because they literally saved me from being a victim of financial embarrassment that comes from lack and unavailability of funds and cash. When I was younger a few years ago, I was in that position, and I know how disappointing it can be to not have what is needed to settle some necessity, and that's probably what shapes the resilience I've built when it comes to savings, no matter how small.

I've got lots of things I would love to accomplish or do this year, but I don't want to overdo it, so when it comes to my plans for the year, it's mainly focused on what I wrote as my resolution for the year, and that's an aspect of family. I want to really be family-oriented this year; now that I'm married, a child might come into the picture at any point in this, and I don't want to be caught unprepared, as we know catering for a child isn't child's play, from the pregnancy stage to childbirth, the naming ceremony, and the overall catering for the welfare of the child and the mother.

So for that reason I'll be saving a lot towards that direction, so I won't be out to shame when it comes to doing my responsibility as both a husband and a father. Beyond that, I really wish and want to begin a project on my land, so I'll also live to save towards that gradually so that I can at least begin something on it, which will be the first step towards something exciting. Like I've stated in the past, owning a house of my own is one of my biggest desires, so if I can save towards it, I'll really be excited so I can start working on that aspect of my plans for the year.

Doing all of these, like I said, will bring about great fulfillment and a sense of accomplishment and save me from embarrassment in different aspects of life, so that's why I'm always intentional about saving.
