We Cry When We See the Bridge and Gaming Rising Star

In the past, if the people wanted to travel between Sagaing and Amarapura, Mandalay, they had to take a ferry or a bird-carrying boat. So, the ferrymen who transported passengers had a good income because they were rich.
During the colonial era, a bridge was built across the Ayeyarwady River to connect Sagaing and Amarapura, Mandalay. The bridge was called the Inwa Bridge (Sagaing Bridge). After the bridge was built, land travel between Sagaing and Amarapura, Mandalay was convenient.
At that time, the boatmen did not have to transport many passengers and their income was not good.
At that time, the Burmese ferrymen looked at the Inwa Bridge and cried, saying that they had lost their jobs and were starving because of this bridge.

Now, the bridge, which is over a hundred years old, was destroyed by an earthquake last year.
It has been more than a year, but the bridge wasn't restored.
So, those who love the bridge are crying when they see it.

Just as we Burmese people cried when the bridge was built in the colonial era, now that the bridge is destroyed, we cry again with the love of our ancient heritage.
I also took some memorable photos of the Sagaing Bridge from the Duhthawaddy River, feeling a sense of sadness and regret.
