Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.
Back in action, I am here with another Splinterlands blog once again. And as usual, I have a lot of stuff to share.

The season has just ended and a new season has started, so anyone who wants to reach the highest league now has full time to do so. You can reach the best possible league from today if you play regularly with the best cards.
For myself, I finished in Gold I as always, and my highest rating was close to 3400, but it got reset to 2500, as you can see in the screenshot below. But it's okay. we are going to climb back to the Gold League once again.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I was already at the Mana Well, because that is where I love to go and open foundation packs. Today also, we have five foundation packs, and as usual, I didn’t have much expectation. I know I am not going to get a legendary card, but still, let’s open them and see what we get.

In the screenshot below, you can see all the rewards that I won today. To be honest, this is not bad at all, especially when the total number of cards is more than the number of packs. I got one epic card, four rare cards (including summoners), and two gold foil cards. Even though they are common, I am still happy.

Below, you can see the first gold foil card, which comes from the Life element. It is Hungry Ulund, and I actually use this card a lot, so I am happy to get it.

The second card is Colossus Raider, as you can see in the screenshot below. I already have one of these cards, so I am going to upgrade it. I am happy again.

Lastly, you can see the epic card, which is Asel Alagosdil. I am happy to get this one as well because it is a card I use in low mana cost battles when I play with Water element monsters.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I am upgrading my gold foil card named Colossus Raider. Since I have two copies, I combined them to upgrade it to a new level. That was all from pack openings and upgrading my cards. Now let me share a battle with all of you.

It was, as usual, a low mana cost battle, but there was a black foil card in my opponent’s team, so I was really excited to see that.
Below, you can see the lineup. I chose Thalgrimor, and my opponent went with Marlai Singariel. I was quite confident about winning this battle, but I would have been even more confident if the Mystic Scaleweaver from the opponent’s team was not upgraded to level 2.

In the screenshot below, you can see round 2, where we were down to 4 versus 3, and I had the upper hand. My little sister monster was performing very well, and I was hoping it would survive till the end.

In the next screenshot, you can see round 3, where we were down to 3 versus 1, and I was already confident that I was going to win.

Finally, in the last screenshot, you can see that the final blow was delivered by the Little Sister monster, and I won the battle.

So in low mana cost battles, I think Water element monsters are not the best choice, especially in the Foundation format. Thalgrimor feels like a much better option in such situations.
That’s how I won the battle today.
That’s all for today from Splinterlands.

Finally you can see my terracore base attacks in the screenshot above. That is decent, not so good not so bad so not complaining for the attack results today.
Thank You
