There are different ways in which humans are expected to be fit. We have physical fitness, mental fitness, psychological fitness, emotional fitness and dietary fitness. Physical fitness has always been that part of fitness I enjoy doing since my early years in high school, but then everything changed years after, and that years after happen to be TODAY; the present.
The desire and passion to be physically fit all started from my childhood days but then it became stronger when i came of age, that should be almost eight years ago. At first i didn’t know what it meant to be physically fit until i started seeing youths of my age looking stylishly fit and able as a result of the kind of things they lift on daily basis. Gradually i started moving towards building myself physically, back then i was mostly concerned about building my 6-packs, and that was mainly to attract beautiful girls. I remember how crazy it was years ago, the top most qualities girls ever seek when it comes to dating a guy or accepting the proposal of any guy is either six-packs or muscular fitness.
It was crazy years ago compared to nowadays. Nowadays most girls just want a sweet, handsome and rich guy, most of them realized how daring it is to stay with a guy that is extremely physically fit.
Moving on, when it comes to being physically fit, i don’t think i am the best definition of physical fitness and i would even rate myself a 4 out of 10 for over a thousand and one reasons, main reason being because i quitted the gym over a year ago for a reason best known to myself. Though i was on the path to being physically fit but after sometime i had to retrace my steps back to how i was before the desire to be physically fit entered into the picture.
My physical fitness might not be top notch but then my mental fitness is a 100 out of 100, and that’s because i am mentally sound and stable. It varies differently though, depending on the level of stress i go through every day, right now i am hanging by a thread and that’s because i am tired and exhausted from the day’s activities.
Right now I consider myself healthy to an extent because my diet for a couple of months now hasn’t been the best. I have been consuming mostly carbohydrates and proteins, which is why i said i am healthy to an extent. I can do mostly what everyone do, the only thing i can’t do is that which i choose not to do because of some reasons best known to myself.
When we talk about physical fitness, I don’t think i am ready to be physically fit, I mean big muscles, abs and packs kinda thing. I don’t want any of that at the moment, which means i am very comfortable with my current shape, but mentally, i think i am good to go with the way i am. It is normal to not always be 100 percent when it comes to mental health, especially when it comes one’s mental state of mind. The daily stress amidst other struggles is more than enough to reduce the functionality of the brain.
In summary, I am okay with my current physical state, my mental fitness is just perfect for my age right now, since i am not Albert Einstein 😂.
In conclusion, I will work more to improve my eating/feeding fitness. What i need right now is just the best diet, with that i am good to go. Health is indeed wealth and it is very important to maintain all forms of fitness, be it physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically and dietically…
