How I Would Convince Someone to Start Their Hive Journey

IMG_2970.jpeg

The way I talk about Hive hasn’t changed. I explain to people how Hive is a good place to be. I explained that it is a platform that enables one to develop themselves if they know what they are doing. Hive is not just a place to post content randomly; it’s where consistency, creativity, and intentionality shape a person over time.

When it comes to freedom, it's different from any other social media platform. For instance, there are things one must not post on other platforms, especially because one's account can be controlled by the owners, and any mistake can lead to one's account being banned. However, on Hive, you can post on almost anything as long as it meets the community's guidelines.

That freedom gives people confidence to express themselves, share their experiences, and connect with others without being restricted.

Apart from that, the only thing that Hive shuns is plagiarism. They value authenticity and originality. This way, one can develop themselves where needed. Hive pushes people to think creatively, improve on their skills and become better at what they do - whether writing, photography, art, music or even video creation.

Hive is full of opportunities, creativity, and connections. I would use myself as an example, starting from where and how I started on Hive. The people I have met, and how I am no longer a novice in writing, because Hive gave me a space to keep writing and hone my skills.

One beautiful thing about Hive is that growth happens naturally when you are active and willing to learn. The more the engagement, the better the connections and improvements.

I would tell them the advantage they would get from a decentralised blockchain like Hive, which cannot be compared to the Web 2 platforms we use. I would also make them know the importance of being intentional and serious about Hive because they will gain a whole lot.

Unlike many traditional social media platforms, where users only contribute content for the owners to profit from, Hive rewards content creators for their efforts and gives them ownership. That alone makes the platform unique and valuable.

For the reward part, of course, I won't ignore this because this is one of the major reasons people want to be on Hive. But I will not hesitate to make them understand that, even though making money is important, one still needs to be serious and not for the money alone which could make them feel disappointed later on when they aren't getting what they expect.

Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme platform. It takes patience, consistency, learning, networking, and improving one's skills. The reward system encourages people to put effort into what they do instead of chasing shortcuts.

I would explain how the reward is distributed on their posts and how they work. It is also important to be familiar with various communities where they can learn from others from different countries. I will make them understand what it means to dedicate an ample amount of time if they'd enjoy this platform.

Communities on Hive are like different families with shared interests. Whether someone loves writing, gaming, music, food, teaching, finance, lifestyle, or photography, there is always a community where they can belong and grow.

The beautiful part I won't hesitate to let them know is how talents are formed on a platform where their voices would be heard and efforts rewarded. Many people joined Hive without confidence in themselves, but over time, they discovered gifts they never knew they had. And that alone is a plus to them.

Some became better writers, some became content creators, some built consistency, while others had meaningful friendships and opportunities across different countries.

To me, Hive is more than a platform; it is a journey of growth, learning, creativity, and self-development. If someone is willing to learn, stay original, connect with others, and remain consistent, Hive can become a place that changes their life positively in ways they never expected.

There are many things to say to bring, but the reward is the real motivation for the people. I think that it would be better if the Hive price remains high like the past days. I would be easier to bring more people here.

It’s amazing how one can grow on hive. I definitely agree with you. I went from being nervous to write to writing in minutes. That’s something that we underrate on this platform.
