Living Life On My Terms: Calculating My Worry-Free Wealth

There is this unspoken and underrated joy that comes when one is able to afford what they need at a particular point in time and have no need to worry afterwards. Even when we complain not to have money, we've had a few or many moments like this but then again, it's mostly underrated or unappreciated because of our insatiable wants.

When I was a teen, I thought having a 100 thousand in my country's currency would be more than enough to buy whatever I wanted. Maybe it would have been but things have changed and times have changed, I'm older now. One thing I've come to understand about money is that it is mostly never enough but there's a but.

It's no doubt that having no money causes a lot of worries, we worry for everything when we have no money even we don't need to because a lot of us have experienced or witnessed how bad it could get if we can't afford what needs to be afforded at the time we need them. There is money that's enough to live life on my own terms.

Believe me when I say there is money that's enough but no exact amount. I could have over a trillion dollars in my account and still not be living my life on my own terms or enjoy life as I should. So one way I'll know I have enough money to be free of worries is when I don't have to ask, think, or act before I spend money, living on my terms.

With any huge amount of money, I can live on my own terms but I think grooming myself to be contented with what I have and live the life that I want should be prioritised. I'm yet to have my dream amount of money (no specific amount though) but I make sure to live with less worries with what I have now. Worries do me no good.

People say I feel relaxed too much but somehow I'm living better than them, they struggle too hard to make some amount of money and still end up spending it unwisely, bringing them back to square one. Where I never want to fail with the money I have is helping others, there is fulfilment in it so it's also one way I'll know I have enough.

Having my family live in comfort, taking trips randomly, exploring places, buying whatever I want at the time I want them, providing the needs of anyone who come across me, all these and many others I want to do without worrying about where I'll get the money from. Maybe a trillion dollars net worth and still counting would do it.

There's more to life than just hustling for money but I want to experience having more than enough and doing so much for everyone around me that it would almost seem like I'll go into lack but that's not happening because I have the money. So the hustle to make more money continues but not without limiting the worries.
