Today I tried to play Splinterlands, but when I first opened the game, the server was not working properly. Because of that, I had to wait a little longer before I could play. I am writing this blog right now after completing the final chapter of Splinterlands from Book 1.
This chapter brings us to a battle with Thayko Gol’eavas. In the screenshot below, you can see what he says. He clearly mentioned that his team is built for destruction. Melee guards the front and Rage holds the rear, giving his magic attackers plenty of time to tear through my team. So he means that he is going to break my lineup with his magical attacks.
But there is also his advice, which says that to survive long enough I must bring a lineup with good health. So now we move towards the battle and think about what lineup I am going to select today.
In the screenshot below, you can also see that our professor says that both me and Thayko Gol’eavas have performed well, but only one will get the victory from here. The tension is increasing and Thayko Gol’eavas is going to fight with the water element, as you can already see in the screenshot. Now it is time for me to decide which Archon I am going to take.
Now my elements can be seen in the screenshot below. For this battle, I decided to take Thalgrimore because he gives -1 health to the opponent’s team, and since most magical attack monsters usually have lower health, I thought this trick might work well. By reducing their health from the start, my cards could gain an advantage.
In the screenshot below, you can see the battle midway, and things were already in my favor. I still had five cards on the battlefield, while my opponent was left with only three. The strategy I used worked exactly the way I expected, and in the end, I was able to win the battle.
In the screenshot below, you can see Thayko Gol’eavas looking disappointed after his defeat, but yes, the better man here was me.
As for the rewards, the final reward for completing the last chapter of Splinterlands Book 1 can be seen in the screenshot. I won a card called Great bear Druid, and it is really special because it is the first card I have that can attack with both magic and melee in the same card. I am not sure if there are more cards like this, but I am proud to already own one.
Finally, in the screenshot below, you can see that I have completed all the chapters of Book 1. From here, we are now going to enter the real battle arena soon. I am excited for what lies ahead, and of course, I will continue sharing my journey with all of you. So stay tuned and make sure to check out my upcoming Splinterlands blogs as well.
